Carter's Mountain
We have officially lived in Virginia eight years now. In a couple more months it will be the longest I have ever lived anywhere. What is fun about living somewhere for long time is the traditions that we have started. Since Joshua was 18 mos. old we have taken a trip to Carter's Mountain to go apple picking. This year was no exception.
Jonathan had Monday off for Columbus Day so after the kids got out of school, the got out at 12:00, we headed out to Charlottesville to pick apples. It was a lovely Fall day, cool, and slightly cloudy. We had a great time. So in honor or more traditions yet to come here is Carter's Mountain past and present.

We always remember our trip to Carter Mt. in October 2003. It was a great time and we'll have to go again sometime, soon. Thanks for the great pictures.
