Tretotweet

This was are first year going around the neighborhood with all three kids. They loved it, but tired out pretty quick. It was really warm and the boys got sweaty quick, but we had fun. The cutest thing was Sam trying to say trick or treat. He figured out pretty quick that saying it was how you got candy. We thought for sure that he would want us to carry his pumpkin bucket but he held on for dear life all around the neighborhood. Now whenever he wants candy he just says "pumpkin" and what a cute little pumpkin he is!

After Star Wars and cowgirls we finally got a girly costume.
This year she was a Sugar Plum Princess Ballerina.

Painting Pumpkins

We had a few pumpkin dilemmas this year. The pumpkins we picked from the pumpkin patch unfortunately rotted before Halloween. Kjisrten had picked a small one on her field trip to the same patch that lasted and I picked up another one from Walmart. But we forgot to carve them. At about 5:00 on Halloween night Kjirsten says " Mom we don't have Jack-o-laterns." My solution- paint them. The kids thought this was great. They were entertained, hyperactivty was kept to a minimum, and we were able to clean up dinner and keep them going until trick-or-treat. They asked if they could paint pumpkins everyyear. The answer to that question- a unanimous - YES!
