Missing in Action

Okay- so I know it has been forever since I posted any pictures of the kids. I have been busier than I one-arm paper hanger as my husband likes to say. Blogging just fell down the priority list. So here is a quick recap of the last few months.

Jan- Amanda started school 2nd semester- harder classes.
We had our first snow week.- VA hasn't had this much snow in 80 years!
Josh- starts basketball.
We start remodeling the living room. This involved a lot of work and evenings
and weekends- see blog

Feb- 2nd snow week. Kids and I are super tired of it.
Finally get living room to where we have access to the computer again.
Kjirsten starts gymnastics.
School gets way too busy am defintely sticking with only two classes a
semester.

Mar. - Spring Break- for Amanda, Midterms- for Amanda
Jonathan has new desk almost ready for sanding and painting
Start working on cleaning up the yard. After six hours of leaf clean up and
mulching we had a rainstorm that dumped tha last of the leaves all over the
yard again. Arghhh!
Joshua ends basketball
Kjirsten ends gymnastics
Amanda's b-day- 32- amazing!
It is finally Spring!

I am hoping that life is going to slow down a little. However, I seem to thrive on crazy so here we go again!

I am attaching a recent living room pic. just to keep you updated. For more pics and details check out me and my sisters decorating blog at www.centsiblychicsisters.blogspot.com.

Basketball

Joshua had a great time playing basketball this winter. He was especially excited that he would be able to play in the same league next year and be able to be taller and hopefully faster. It was pretty funny to watch a two groups of eight and nine year old boys duke it out on the basketball court. We all had a great time cheering them on. The only one who complained was Sam who thought the scoreboard buzzer was too loud.

His team played hard but only won about half their games. The lost in the first round of playoffs but the score was close 18-14. Joshua was a little disappointed by this but maybe it will be better next year.

You just can't beat getting to play for fun where everybody gets a trophy, a t-shirt, and it only cost Mom & Dad $10. We are all looking forward to next year. Now Josh gets to start tennis again in the spring.
