Walking in Daddy's Shoes
This is a little video of Samuel entertaining himself by walking around in Jonathan's shoes. It seems like the cuter he gets the more trouble he gets into. It is probably to help ease the blow.
Today we got locked out of the house because I thought I had keys in my purse when actually Samuel had thrown two sets of keys down the air conditioning vent. Arghhh!
He has also started thinking that he wants to use the potty, well this lasted a few days and now that I know he can do it he seems less than interested. Aren't two year old's fun?
Cake #2
This is my completed Cake for Course 2. It was really fun learning to make all the different flowers and trying techniques I never even know you could do. I am contemplating going into a little side business. What do you think? I have one course left. I can hardly wait to get going.
Camping Fun
The kids still energetic after only a mile of hiking,
they were not so happy three miles later.
I have sent a link to more pictures of our camping trip via email to most of you, but thought I should share a few thoughts on my blog as well. So here is a quick summary of highs and lows.
Highs:
Hiking to a waterfall.
Enjoying the wonderful weather. (Never reached 80)
No rain
Kids having such a good time they couldn't pick a favorite thing.
Checking out local photography at an Art& Crafts Fair.
Experimenting with dutch oven cooking.
Roasting Marshmallows (Kjirsten boasts that she had 6!)
Paddle Boating and playing at the Lake.
Quiet evening talking under the stars.
Lows:
1/4 mile hike to the bathroom
The invasion of the Brubakers
Mysterious animal noises in the night.
Getting everyone's shoes wet crossing the creek.
Not being able to go to the mountains more often
But all in all we had a blast.
