Despite celebrating a few days late. Kjirsten still exclaimed that she had a great birthday. We started with dinner at her favorite Mexican restaurant, where she was treated to complimentary fried ice cream and a birthday sombrero. At home she opened presents and loved her cake, that Dad had made while Mom was gone.
Favorite presents included a child's sewing machine and new jewelry bow to keep all of her earrings in, for her newly pierced ears (another present).
