To satisfy the requests of my adoring fans I am blogging the half-way point of my bedroom makeover. So far we have painted walls, bedroom and bathroom and thetrim and window. We redid the bathroom vanity (see earlier blog). I have now added a few homemade art pieces above the bed and finished a new nightstand to match one that was purchased at Ikea.
The future plans include refinishing our dresser and adding a mirror to the top of it that I found at an unfinished furniture store. I also noe have all the fabric I need to do new shams, curtains, recover my cedar chest and add decorative pillows. So in my mind there is still a lot to do. I am looking forward to starting the sewing this week. I plan to post the completed room at the end of the month. Enjoy!
