Jonathan and I had the pleasure of attending a special Temple Meeting on Saturday. We rode up with a couple of other couples which was really fun. The meeting was fantastic and we were able to do sealings after. You really forget what a blessing it is to live close to a temple until you don't. Sometimes I don't think I attended nearly enough when we didn't have kids and lived so much closer. Now I feel lucky to go twice a year. Having stake conference on Sunday with an Apostle present also helped to make the weekend that much more spiritual. It really helped me think about many things and put everything in the proper perspective. I love the temple and kids survived the day with their favorite babysitter! It was great!

The temple trip sounds awesome. The DC temple is so beautiful and well sited. Last spring after we left Annapolis we drove around the belt way and enjoyed the "rocket launch" view of the temple. And, of course, the physical view is nothing compared to the spiritual view. Hope you can go often.

It's so true about taking trips to the temple for granted before kids. I'm glad to hear that you were able to go. I can't believe how big your kids are! Where does the time go...
